its 27th Oct today!! aka leen's birthday!! so happy birthday leen!!!! hee not sure if leen will c this entry but i shall insist on blogging! hahas SMU is a fun place to celebrate birthday! =) here's the foolproof plan we had yesterday!!
1plus: jy sms-ed sy n leen to ask them to study with her cos' her project is till 4plus pm 3.15pm: leen and sy ended class and they went library to study 3.30: jy left her prject earlier to meet kx 4.15pm: py reached smu aft her class. jy sucessfully smuggled py n kx into smu. and the 3 of them enter a study room (booked by sy) to prepare for the surprise 4.20pm: jy called leen to inform her that her project so leen n sy can join her at her prject room (aka the surprise room!!) 4.30pm: sy informed py that they are reaching. kx, py & jy lighted the cake and evacuated the room! 4.35pm: surprise!!
yayness! hahas so fun! mission accomplished n leen didnt suspect anything!! hahas she tot that we arenot going to celebrate her bday cos we din mention anything to her! =) -grins- so fun!! we took quite alot of funny pics which are w leen!! wait till she send us then we upload the pics! =)

haha the bbq was so much fun..getting smokin hot and all..haha and to all those who missed the ultra nice choc fondue TOO BAD..uhm sry la made it quite late..but we had too much food and u guys did leave quite early.its ok.we'll definitely haf more of such ingenuity nx time.thx to lj for his place, his maid for helping and clearing up(lol), kx for bring the nice chocs, py for the beehoon(=p), soon for the charcoal and all for coming.we shd do tis more often.potluck's next!

first and foremost, i'd like so say i really enjoyed myself yesterday and appreciate the effort put in by the organisers mr liangjian and mr yimin. (and sherman?) i hope we can continue to be so enthu and meet up often!! (:
i'm really glad that i met up with everyone who were there although i dont think i had much to say. there isnt anything particularly interesting happening in my life and i dont reckon i should bore all of you with the legal nonsense.
i wish jy and leen came earlier and kx left later. and if only ms fooxx and ms ling were there as well. ahh.
heh. anyway lj and ym, i was reallyimpressed with the deco, and i love that thing which was used to put the severts. (gosh how do you spell that word im too lazy to check). oh and the chocolate foundue (check spelling again) was AWESOME!! yummy yums. too bad i was too full to eat much of it. and it looked so prettty too. (: (:
oh randomly, i think the soccer game is quite fun!! hahahhaaa. ehh i need a shifu to teach me how to playy!
anyway the bottomline is, i really enjoyed myself. yay! (:

I enjoyed myself yesterday. Haven't seen Olivia and Yiqi for a long time, so it was nice to see them and talk to them. But I think the highlight of yesterday was the guys serving the girls. Haven't had that experience before. It felt very good. We should have that more often:) especially since the girls would be mentally and physically drained due to the mounting workload. The Indian food I had yesterday was really good too. I love their roasted chicken, curry and beehoon. They are my all-time favourites:) I indulged so much that I did some exercise this morning. Had to especially since I gained some weight recently. Not sure why though since I'm not eating alot recently. Anyway I decided to bore everyone because I am disturbed by 2 things: I'm currently trying to write the 6000 word academic paper for Japanese studies. the issue we are examining is Ijime, the Japanese word for bullying. I was just reading thoroughly all the sources we had and I am very disturbed by the forms of bullying in Japanese schools. In Singapore, we have students who commit suicide due to academic pressure. In Japan, about 10 students successfully committed suicide every year due to bullying. The forms of ijime can be quite shocking like sexual harrassment (stripping the victim in front of every one, tying a female's skirt to her head), physical assaults like putting a burning cigarette on the victim's skin also known as ‘konjoyaki’ and lynching (also, ‘kagome rinchi’) which entails the victim having to kneel on the floor and being kicked and hit by the bullies, who encircle him, as they sing a children’s play song ‘kagome kagome’. The most common form is to stage a funeral for the victim, complete with incense and flowers and the students will sign on the condolence card, with words like "May you rest in peace". And some teachers even participate too. I think it is more like abuse than bullying. The second thing that is bugging me is this question a friend in my writing module asked: why are girls so sensitive and insecure? He quarrelled with his girlfriend and another girl in the class teased him, saying that it must be because he bullied the girlfriend. Then we started talking about how girls are so sensitive. But why are girls involved in a relationship so insecure? Big deal if the boyfriend talks to a female friend. it's not as if the boyfriend is kissing or hugging the female friend. I don't understand, most probably because I never even had the chance to experience it, not that I'm upset about it. So maybe Jy, Py and Sy can enlighten me. I mean if you don't trust the boyfriend or think he's cheating on you then just end it. Why prolong your and his suffering and the suffering of your friends who have to listen to your ramblings? Why does the girl even feel insecure in the first place??? The guy dated you for a reason. it's not as if he had no choice, so why do girls think he is also interested in other girls? It's so senseless. Or maybe because I'm a heartless and harsh person. Perhaps. I'm done with all my ramblings. If I've wasted anyone's time reading this, I offer you my sincere apologies:) Hope to see everyone soon. Good luck to kian (hopefully you will get to be a pilot). And I will continue writing and writing and writing. I'm sure I can even write an essay in my sleep. Oh, and good luck to Man U too!!

Poor Feli, I hope things will get better for you. Sometimes, during group discussions, it seems like I'm having a monologue. But thankfully, I only see them once a week or I'll definitely wring their necks!! Still, some of my group members are becoming more human. At least they seem to have slightly more interest in the academic paper. Today during tutorials, our tutor returned us the outline for our academic paper. And, she said ours was among the best!!!!:):) Yay! Super proud and happy with myself since I wrote the ENTIRE outline myself. We'll see what happens next. Things can only get better.... I hope
Py, I won't be playing ball. I think you would have known this without me saying it:) As much as I said I hope I had played ball more often with the class in my previous entry, I don't think I will do so, no matter how hyper I'm feeling. If I play, I pity everyone else - It would be your worst and most boring game ever in your entire life!

anyway i've finished my course and its back to bedok camp.im posted to charlie coy in 1gds battalion.met my men..nice ppl those 2.my gunner, justin is so damn strong and super hardworking.but the other,suren,is lacking in enthusiam, i shd say.we didnt do much this week save for 24km march.it was thru east coast park.i muz say it's a very pleasant route.despite the late hours the place was still very much alive.in fact crawling with bladers,bikers etc.so thru the march we had the fortune of watching lots of roller babes zooming past us.lol.saw many couples dere too..poor them.to think a romantic night out by the beach got ruined by a bunch of stinky boy with awful singing.many ppl, esp those in the pubs and restaurants cheered us on as we marched past.lol damn fun.
east coast park has tis lagoon for wakeboarding, waterskiing etc..watersports i guess..and its totally automated.meaning like no boats required.shd try it out someday.but now my feet are hurting like mad.ok nuttin else.dun mind the abrupt ending.=)
